About
I am Allison Armstrong, wife of Adam, mother of Paige (7), Hayleigh (4), and Mollie (2) and I am the adopted daughter of God who chose me and ransomed me through Christ. I am a personal trainer who loves working out and being outside. And now I am a woman with leukemia confined to a hospital, but only for now. This journey began on Wednesday, March 7th. The purpose of this blog is to keep you informed about my treatment and allow us to mutually encourage one another.

I love you, Allie and am praying for you daily! I loved looking into your eyes when I saw you. I saw the strength of the Living God in you. He is enough.
Allie you are in my thoughts and prayers and God has blessed you with an amazing amount of courage and strength! You are an inspiration! Sending you unending amounts of love and prayers as you go through this time!
Allie I was so sorry to hear of your illness. Megan Richardson is a current preschool mom and she had this link posted on her facebook page. I fondly remember your little Paige from attending our school several years ago.
Please know I have added you to my prayer list. I pray for healing and strength as you battle this dreaded disease.
Hi Allie,
So grateful for you. My husband Bill said to tell Adam he is praying for him specifically every day.
With Love,
Jen and Bill
Allie,
We met when you subbed for Katie’s class last year and then again this summer at Silver Lake. Please know that you are on my heart and in my prayers. Stay strong in spirit and body. This is a chance to really feel God’s presence in a tangible way.
I am going to commit my daily workouts to you and work harder while you can’t.
Sincerely,
Kelly Turner
Sending much love and warm wishes your way. If anyone can handle this, it’s you
Ally,
We are praying very hard and have asked many to pray with us. Please let Hannah know if there is anything you need help with. I am more than happy to help with the kiddos.
Much love,
Marisa, Jason, Alyssa and Zach

I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Isaiah 40:29
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Ephesians 6:10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalm 22:19
But you, O LORD, be not far off; O my Strength, come quickly to help me.
Psalm 28:7-8
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.
Psalm 118:14
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
Isaiah 12:2
Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.”
Isaih 33:2
O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.
Isaiah 40:29-31
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Hi Allie,
I’ve been thinking about you and praying for you it seems like non-stop since last Thurs. Just wanted you to know that. By summer you’ll have that ripped little back outside running drills again…..I just know it!
I love you sweetie!

Hey Allie, Been thinking about you all day. Spoke with your nurse this am who said you were doing well. I hope you are resting comfortably ( ha! who can get rest in that place?). Of course you are in my daily prayers, and when I looked on the website for meals for you and your family, I was wowed by the number of angels looking after you and your family. You have touched so many of us with your enthusiasm, your goodness and beautiful soul. May God bless you and keep you enveloped in his love. Marianne
Hey girl. Just lying here in bed sending love and prayers your way.
Allie,
I don’t know you yet but my father-in-low did when you were his personal trainer at the Natatorium. He is in Florida now and sharing your story of courage with us. I already admire you for your valor and strength. You and your family are in our prayers, stay strong.
God Bless You!

Allie, I have talked to God about you…how could this happen to a wonderful Christian like you? And then I read your blog. God is working through you and for you, touching more lives than you can know. I still don’t agree with the path He has for you, but I don’t think He needs my advice. Stay strong, fight that awful disease. I pray daily for you and your family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your lovely family. We are wishing you a speedy recovery!! Norma and George
Allie… Sofie told me you were in the hospital. I’m sorry you and your family have to deal with leukemia. I’m just across the way from you — if I can help you around the house please let me know! You’ve done so much for Sofie – now we can do for you – if you let us.
Hi Allie-
Just saw info today on Lindsay C.’s facebook about your current battle. I’ll be praying for your quick and complete recovery! We’re standing in the knowledge that you’re strong and that your marrow and blood cells and tissue and bones will be completely clean, pure and fully healed.
I was remembering being out with you to run the loop at Lone Tree with you pushing Paige in the stroller and after I left you took off to do another loop. You totally kicked my ass – and you will do the same with this!
love you guys, miss you and praying for you.

Hi Allie,
It’s been forever since I’ve seen you but Laura keeps me in the loop and I appreciated so much that she shared your blog with me after she received it from Renee. As we follow your updates, we’re so encouraged to see your strong faith amidst these challenging days. Please know that we’re praying for you each day in addition to your beautiful family. Our two year old daughter has been praying for “Allie” and my Bible Study Fellowship group is praying for you too. We were so happy to hear that you may be able to spend some days at home. We will pray that you will remain fever free and that the cancer cells will be gone after this round of chemo!
Sending Hugs & Prayers,
Amy
Hi Allie,
I’ve been praying for you and your family. I’m so sad that you and your family have to go through this.
After church tonight, i read your blog, got all choked up and went upstairs to find a verse taped to our bathroom mirror from my daughter.
“If God is for us then who can be against us?” Rom. 8:31
It was a good reminder and I thought I’d share it.
Prayers and thoughts,
-kara
Hi Allie.
My name is Monica Strohm. My daughter, Olivia, is a student in one of your husband’s classes.
I wanted to tell you that you will be prayed for through this difficult journey. I know what you are experiencing, as my six year old daughter, Sophia, had a blood disorder, which required six weeks of hospitalization, chemo and a bone marrow transplant. I would be honored to pray for you.
His ways are not our ways, but He is and always will be God.
Allie,
I don’t know you, but two people who love you told me about you and your story. God healed me of cancer and I am praying for you and standing with you for total healing. Your blog is woven with the love of Jesus, and your picture today- bright smiling face- reaveals His joy in you. I know that you already know that many, many people are believing God with you. I wanted you to know that there are more than you think.
Matthew 8:17 Himself took my/your infirmities and carried our sicknesses.
God Bless You,
Karen

Hey Allie,I’m sitting with my whole family right now watch blazing saddles in room 5 with MGM dad, John. Thanks for your positive spirit and encouragement while you were here. I’m very happy for your healing.
Much love,
Marianne
I started to say “we have not met”, but that is not true at a couple of levels. People of faith have always “met”, and I believe you are Tana Clark’s daughter. From your words and your pictures I know you could “light up a room” like she always could and I am sure still does. I am sorry you are going through this, and I have prayed that this be lifted from you.
God’s continued blessings on you and your family,
Mike Doster
Allie my music teacher told me about u and I will always pray for u

God is GREATER than any problem including lukemia and we know you are a WINNER…..

My newest buddy and inspiration. Meeting you at MD Anderson today made my week. Your strength and determination is remarkable and should be displayed for the world to see. Your reassuring words about the transplant process helped me tremendously with my nerves about the whole situation. I am a firm believer that God watches over us in our endeavors with this disease and He has a plan for us. Trust in Him and He will pull you through anything. Hope I’m half as strong as you. Enjoy your trip back home and keep in touch.

Hi Allie,
I have been following your blog for sometime now and getting info from your Dad. I just want you to know you are one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I am so sorry you are going through this. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
Love,
Toni
Alli, I am hearing alot about this new research where they are doing experimental human studies. Cancer researchers at Memorial Sloan in New york are using this on patients with Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia. Forgive me if you already know about all this but I just thought i would share. While they are using this for this type of luekemia, they are also using it in others to see what all in can do/fight…what types of cancers. It basically runs pt. blood thru machine and removes the T-cells (immune system cells), they genetically alter the T-cells, they then inject them w/ disabled virus and it programs the T-cell to go after the cancer…(they then give you back your blood to where it can do its job)this is all done then without affecting the “good” cells! Just thought you may want to learn about study. Again, if you already know or have had this done, i apologize, I try to keep up with all posts but not always possible. Your in our hearts and prayers..your a beautiful and strong and faithful christian woman who God is using to impact the world and to see true faith in action. God Bless you and your family. All our love.
Hi Allie, Standing and believing in prayer for your healing daily. You, Adam & the girls are a blessing to all that know you. Your journey is a testimony to the power and love of God in your life.
God is greater than any problem you have.
“JESUS WE TRUST IN YOU”
Holding fast to Psalm 91 for you Allie.
